Mark specializes in religious trauma and couples therapy. Additionally, he brings extensive experience as a university professor, best-selling author, researcher, and workshop facilitator, equipped with the knowledge and skills to guide you on your journey to healing and growth.

I have a compassionate approach to therapy in that I meet people where they are in their own journey. I have nearly 20 years of experience in trauma informed care, addiction, family conflict, religious trauma and gender affirming care. I hold certifications in both ecotherapy and religious trauma. I provide training and practice in guided imagery and meditation.

I am a trained complex trauma EMDR Clinician and a Level Two Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I am also trained in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy and a Texas Social Work Board-Approved Clinical Supervisor. I like to provide a space where clients feel comfortable processing difficult emotions so they can leave the session feeling a greater sense of resilience, confidence, and happiness.

As a trauma specialist, I use both the most cutting-edge trauma treatment modalities of EMDR, IFS, mindful self-compassion, and somatic awareness, as well as energy-based and alternative modalities such as (hands off) reiki, crystals, and other energy methods. I am happy to work with both "therapy newbies" and also therapy veterans who need a true expert. I am licensed in Texas, Utah, Arizona, Florida, and Colorado.
