About the event

Join us for a multi-day workshop (of approximately 8-10 hours in length) on the existence of God, delivered by an expert on the topic whose PhD project and associated monograph focusses on this issue. Does God exist? How should we decide? And what is God anyway? Learn about the pros and cons for the best arguments for and against God’s existence, and learn about how debates on the topic do and should occur. We shall also tackle the false dichotomy which indicates that either theism or naturalism obtains, introducing key models from outside the mainstream Western philosophical and religious traditions. Students in live sessions will be given ample opportunity to question and comment, and especially to relay or even create other arguments – for or against God’s existence – that they wish to be considered. Student knowledge shall be tested by a single multiple choice question exam.

This event has a group. You’re welcome to join the group once you register for the event.
