Scotty Gilmore is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works full-time in private practice based in Fort Worth, serving all of Texas with video sessions.  Scotty has a bachelor’s degree from California State University in Sociology-Human Sexuality.  He completed his master’s degree in counseling from Amberton University.  He recently completed a master of health administration.   

Scotty was raised in an evangelical conservative church, providing him with an intimate awareness of the damage that can be caused by indoctrination into a faith. Drawing from his personal experiences, Scotty brings a compassionate and understanding approach to his counseling. 

Scotty loves to work with a variety of clients but his practice focuses on Gay Men and the entire LGBTQIA+ Community.  He has experience dealing with those who have dealt with conversion therapy (Pray the Gay Away), shame, and recovering from Purity Culture.
